About this game

Tilt is a rolling-ball course played by tilting the device rather than pressing anything. The ball responds to real gravity through your handset's accelerometer, so steering is a matter of easing the phone rather than jabbing at a control - and the game is far better for it once you stop trying to correct too hard. The physics are the game. A ball carries momentum into a turn, and a course that looked simple from a standstill is a different proposition at speed. There is a jump on a single button for hopping gaps and clearing low obstacles, and the timing of it against the roll is most of the skill. Courses are timed and carry collectibles, so there are two ways to play the same layout: fast, or complete. They rarely turn out to be the same route. It is built for a phone held in landscape and asks you to rotate before it starts. It will run on a desktop, but a machine without a tilt sensor is not the way to see it - this is one to open on a handset.

How to play

Tilt the device to roll the ball - lean it gently rather than sharply. Tap JUMP to hop gaps and low obstacles. Hold the phone in landscape. Collect the pickups on each course, or ignore them and go for the time.
