Bankshot is a turn-based duel in which the straight shot is almost always the wrong one. Every time your shot bounces off a wall it hits harder, so the whole game is about missing on purpose: sending the ball the long way round, off one wall, then two, then three, and into your opponent with everything it picked up on the way. Each turn you slide into position and then shoot, with a guide showing the first stretch of the path before it runs out and leaves the rest to you. That last part is the catch. A shot with four banks on it is devastating when it lands and deeply embarrassing when it comes back round and hits you instead, and it can. Power-ups change the geometry. A charged shot starts two bounces up, a split shot breaks into three, a heavy shot smashes straight through blocks instead of bouncing off them, and a guard soaks up one hit for you. Every shot is named for what it did, from a clean hit through bank, double bank and triple bank up to Four Walls, Unreal and the Bankshot King. Play a straight duel or survive against the field, with up to four players sharing one screen or computer opponents from Rookie through Pro to Shark. Set the number of rounds to win and a turn clock if you want it to move. Your best bank of the match is kept, and your best ever stays on your device.

How to play
On your turn, slide into position, then aim and shoot. The guide shows the start of the path; the rest is up to you. Aim at walls rather than at your opponent: each bounce makes the shot hit harder, but a long shot can come back round and hit you. Pick up power-ups for charged, split, heavy and guarded shots. Choose Duel or Survive, set who is playing, and turn your phone sideways for the full board.
