60 Second Sketch
Draw it, beat the clock, fool the judge. Five subjects make a match.

60 Second Sketch gives you a random subject and one minute to draw it, then has a judge decide how well you did. Five drawings make a match, and your score is the sum of what the judge made of them. The minute is the whole design. It is long enough to get the shape of a thing down and nowhere near long enough to fuss over it, so the game rewards deciding quickly what makes a subject recognisable and committing to that. Detail is usually the wrong instinct; silhouette is usually the right one. There is a pencil, an eraser and a set of colours, which is all the tooling it gives you and all it needs. The judge runs locally in your browser, so nothing you draw is uploaded anywhere. Scores go to a leaderboard, and because the subjects are drawn at random no two matches put you in the same position twice. It plays as well with a mouse as with a finger, and better on a tablet than either.

How to play
Draw with the mouse or your finger. Pick the pencil, the eraser or a colour from the toolbar. You have sixty seconds per subject and five subjects per match. Go for the recognisable shape first - detail rarely scores better than a clear silhouette, and the clock is not generous.
