Syphon's Blackjack

About this game

A brass-trimmed table, a six-deck shoe and the regulars who come with it. Start in the Parlour with a thousand play chips and work your way up through four rooms to the Vault, each with its own limits and its own rules: late surrender, a dealer who hits soft 17, resplit aces, a short two-deck shoe. Double, split to four hands, take insurance or even money, and try the Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets. Turn on strategy hints in the settings and the book's move is marked for you, which makes it as good a place to learn the game as to play it. Collect eleven drinks, sixteen trinkets, seven card backs and six felts for your seat, climb from Guest to Legend, and chase twenty-one achievements. Open a table and deal friends in with a four-letter code. The regulars fill the empty seats and stand up for anyone who arrives. Play chips only. Nothing here is real money, nothing can be won, and nothing is for sale.

How to play

Tap a chip to bet it, tap the small PP or 21+3 circles for side bets, then Deal. Hit, Stand, Double, Split and Surrender are the buttons at the bottom, or H, S, D, P and R on a keyboard. Space deals or rebets, 1 to 4 pick chips, and Esc opens the menu. Turn on strategy hints in Settings and the book's move is marked for you. To play with friends, one of you chooses Play with friends and opens a table; everyone else types its code.
