Road Riot is a racing game where the other riders hit back. Fifteen events run across five locations - the Dust Reach highway, the switchbacks of Cedarfall Pass, the old shore road at Saltwind Coast, the freight corridor at Ironworks Flats, and Neon Row after dark - and every one of them is a point-to-point run against five rivals with police somewhere behind you. The road is generated fresh for each event, with live traffic to thread through, obstacles in the racing line and weapons dropped where somebody has already been knocked off. You can punch, kick, and steal a pipe, club or chain out of a rival's hand when they are stunned. Your stamina drains as you swing, so picking the moment matters more than swinging often. The police are the other pressure. Ride dirty and your heat climbs until a patrol marks you, rams you across the road and tries to pin you long enough to make an arrest. Get taken and your race is over regardless of your position. Prize money and combat bonuses buy better machines through seven bikes, from a starter commuter to a prototype. Race the career, drop into a quick race, or pick Race a Friend and run the same generated road against somebody else.
