About this game

Scorch Circuit is combat racing where the hull bar matters as much as the lap counter. Six drivers run a championship across five circuits, and finishing is not guaranteed. The field has character rather than being numbered opponents. Vex Marrow drives the Razorhound, Bolt Kessa the Sparkjaw, Grud Vantek the heavy Ironmule, Nyx Halloran the stealthy Ghostveil, Rook Tanner the spiked Slagbull and Miri Solvane the light Sunspike - and they drive to their machines, so the brute will lean on you and the light one will out-corner you. Five weapons are picked up on track: a pulse blaster for pressure, a shard scatter for anything close, a hornet missile that tracks, a void mine to leave behind you, and an arc lance for a single heavy hit. Defensive pickups matter just as much - a halo shield, a repair pod for the hull you have already lost, and a nitro cell. Between races, prize money goes into the car: a drive core raises top speed, a torque plate gets you there faster, and there is more besides. Run the full championship across all five circuits, or drop into a quick race.

How to play

Arrow keys or WASD to drive. Hold the boost to spend your bar, and fire weapons with Space or the fire button. Watch the hull readout - taking damage from weapons and walls will end your race before the laps do. Pick up shields and repair pods when your hull is low rather than saving them.
