Pulsar League is football played with rocket-powered cars. Drive, boost, jump, double jump and fly to meet the ball in the air, powerslide round the corners, drive up the walls and dodge into a shot or a save. Every car has the same handling and the same hitbox, so the only difference between two players is how well they drive. A match lasts one, three or five minutes and can be one-on-one, two-a-side or three-a-side, with Rookie, Pro or All-Star bots filling any empty seats and overtime settled by the next goal. Five more modes bend the rules: Heatseeker, where every touch sends the ball faster toward the opposite goal; Lunar Flight, in low gravity; Snow Day, with a heavy puck instead of a ball; Pulsar Rumble, with magnet, freeze, shockwave, grapple and swap powers; and Freeplay, an empty arena with unlimited boost. There are four arenas: the open-air Aether Stadium, the rain-slick Neon District, the Solstice Coliseum and the Glacier Dome. Training has striker, aerial and keeper drills, and the Pulsar Cup is a three-round knockout for a trophy. Goals get a replay and a goal explosion, which you pick in the Garage along with your car's body, colour, decal, wheels and boost trail. The Star Pass has twenty free reward tiers, and nothing is for sale. Play Online finds a public match, waiting up to a minute before filling the empty places with bots. A party keeps friends on the same team: share its six-character code and queue together, or start a private match with whoever is in the room.

How to play
W and S accelerate and reverse, A and D steer, Shift boosts, Ctrl powerslides and Space jumps (twice for a double jump). In the air W and S pitch and Q and E roll; jump again with a direction to dodge. C switches between ball cam and car cam, F fires your power in Rumble, Tab shows the scoreboard, the number keys send quick chat phrases and Esc opens the menu. A controller works too.
