About this game

Snack Attack is a platformer that takes place entirely inside vending machines. You are small, the snacks are not, and the machine is full of things that shift when you land on them. Each machine is a self-contained level: get in, collect the coins, and find your way out through the chute or the flap at the bottom. The platforms are the stock - crisp packets, cola cans, chocolate bars - and they behave like stock, which is to say they slide, tip and occasionally fall on you. You can drop through some of them deliberately, which is often the quickest way down. Seven machines run from the Lobby Machine through Break Room Beauty, Neon Nibbles, Cafeteria 3000, Gate B7 Snax and Specimen Snacks to Machine 404, and they get considerably less forgiving as they go. The writing is the other half of it. Every death gets its own line, and the game has a great many of them - being collected by the claw and filed under snack is one of the gentler ones.

How to play

Arrow keys or WASD to move, Space or Up to jump, Down to drop through a platform you are standing on. Collect the coins in each machine and then find the way out at the bottom. ESC pauses. Watch what you are standing on - most of it moves.
