About this game

Snowbound is a downhill mountain run with two ways to take it. Free Ride drops you on the slope with nothing to chase - no gates, no timer, just the mountain and whatever line you fancy. Time Trial is the opposite: a clock, a sequence of gates, and no allowance for the ones you miss. The handling is the reason to stay. Speed builds with the gradient and bleeds off the moment you turn too hard, so the fast line is a matter of committing early and trusting it rather than scrubbing off speed at every turn. Jumps are where the run is won or lost - the game tells you plainly whether you stomped it, landed clean or wiped out, and a bad landing costs you the momentum you spent the last thirty seconds building. Steering works from the arrow keys or, if you prefer, directly from the mouse, which is smoother once you are used to it. Escape releases the mouse and pauses. Times go to a local leaderboard with a name against them, so a good run has somewhere to sit.

How to play

Arrow keys to steer, or turn on mouse steering for finer control - ESC releases the mouse and pauses. Shift to tuck for speed. Commit to a line early rather than correcting mid-turn, and set up for landings before you leave the lip. In Time Trial, missed gates are not forgiven.
