Ten-pin bowling with a full ten-frame scorecard that counts strikes and spares the way the sport actually does - a strike carries the next two balls, a spare carries the next one, and the tenth frame opens up for a third ball if you earn it. The throw is set in three parts: where you stand on the approach, how much hook you put on the ball, and how hard you send it. Hook is the interesting one. A ball sent straight down the middle will leave splits that a curving ball would have carried, so learning to start wide and bring it back into the pocket is the difference between a decent game and a good one. There is a Match mode for a straight ten frames and an Arcade mode with a set of challenges to work through. Difficulty runs Easy, Normal and Hard, and bumpers can be turned on if somebody younger is playing. Play a Friend puts two bowlers on the same pair of lanes: one creates a lane, the other types the four-letter code, and you alternate frames with both scorecards kept by the server, so neither of you has to trust the other's arithmetic.

How to play
Move left and right on the approach to set your line. Set hook on the spin control, then use the power meter to throw. Watch the pin deck between balls - what is left standing decides how you play the spare. Tap or click to advance between frames.
