Veyrfall: The Broken Dominion is a tactical role-playing game rendered isometrically in 3D. It is turn-based and unhurried - a fight is usually decided several moves before it ends, and reaction speed has nothing to do with it. Position is the whole game. Where a unit stands, which way it faces and what is between it and the enemy matter more than any single number on a character sheet, and the isometric 3D view exists to make all of that readable at a glance rather than to look impressive. It is a proper 3D scene rather than flat artwork, so elevation and facing read clearly on the field. Input is unified across keyboard, mouse, touch and gamepad, including pinch to zoom, so it plays the same on a laptop as on a tablet. Progress saves to your browser between sessions, so this is a game to return to rather than finish in one sitting. It asks more of your machine than the arcade games here do: it wants a modern browser with WebGL, and if it runs slowly it is worth closing other tabs before blaming the game.

How to play
Click or tap a tile to move, and a target to act on it. The camera can be rotated and zoomed - pinch to zoom on a touchscreen. Keyboard, mouse, touch and gamepad are all supported. Progress saves automatically to your browser; use a modern browser with WebGL enabled.
